Is it still hot??? We'll be patient as summer comes to an end, but as warm as it is in Georgia,  our hearts are warmer still with the love for the children that are displaced throughout Georgia's foster care homes and in Grandparent and relatives homes. Over 2600 children have already been loved on this year by you, our supporters and sponsors, and another 2400 are expected to come through before the end of this year.

When I started this organization over 20 years ago to help those least supported displaced children, I had no idea how many lives it would touch. I am so proud of the work everyone has done to help displaced children.

With the system always changing, we now see 75% of the children we are serving living with grandparents or relatives. Ninety-five percent of these families have unexpectedly taken on the responsibility of caring for other family member's children without financial stipends or support. Statistics show that most children do better when living with family rather than with strangers so we hope for a great future for all of them. We are happy to help and delighted that you are willing and able to join us in this venture.

Anyone can help but how you help is up to you. Some foster, or take in a relative's child, others fund the FCSF center, or donate needed items or volunteer their time. Together, it works!  Please stop in and share a couple hours or more to either fill an order for a child that can't come, help us with the season change over that's taking place in September and prepare for October's Fall/Winter distribution, be a monthly financial sponsor for a child or two or become a Hope 4 Tomorrow mentor. You will help make a child smile and feel more secure as he learns that he or she is loved.

Remember always, "It's a "WE" Thing"!!

Please share our information with others and "like" our Foster Care Support Facebook page.

May God Bless,

Rachel Ewald
